Concert Band Audition Information 2024-25 School Year
Concert Band Auditions For Winds: Jan 30th @ AFHS Band Room starting at 3pm.
- Play All State Etude with the following measures
www.auditionsolos.com Solo 3B for your Instrument
- Play Full Range Chromatic Scale (Doesn't matter how much, just whatever your full range is) More points awarded for larger range.
- 2 Octave F Major Scale (Horns play 2 Octave Bb major Scale)
- 1 Octave Db Major Scale in Thirds

Flute: m. 1-7
Oboe: m. 9-18
Bassoon: m. 1-10
Clarinet: m. 9-15
Bass Clar m. 1-17
Saxophone: m. 1-14
Trumpet: m. 1-16
Horn: m. 1-20
Trombone: m. 1-14
Bass Trom: 1-14
Euph: m. 9-20
Tuba: m. 1-12
Percussion Auditions:
- Play 1 min of Your Solo
- Full Range Chromatic Scale
- 2 Octave F Scale
- 1 Octave Db Scale In thirds

Arrive at AFHS Band Room around 3pm to sign up for a time to audition. Get your number of audition order. Warm Up and then go to the room down the fine arts hallway to play for judge.
There will be cookies for all auditioning.
