Anthony Riederer
Anthony has previously served as a technician, choreographer, consultant, designer, and caption head for scholastic and independent pageantry organizations in the Midwest and Pacific Northwest. Most recently, he served as Colorguard Director at Bellevue East High School, near Omaha, Nebraska.
In addition to leading the guard program at Bellevue East, Anthony was an active member of the local winterguard circuit, the Heartland Winter Arts Association, serving as Chief Judge and as an appointed member of the Board of Directors.
In his previous life as a performer, Anthony spent multiple seasons with the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps and Northern Lights Winterguard.
Outside of pageantry, Anthony holds a Master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Urban Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Historic Preservation and Community Planning. He works as a Principal Urban Planner for the City of Salt Lake. In this role, he works to help show property owners and neighborhoods how best to reinvest in their properties and capitalize on the city's wealth of economic, natural, and cultural assets.
